Bradley Barcola’s move to Liverpool is edging closer.

David Ornstein and Fabrizio Romano have both reported that Liverpool are closing in on a deal for the Paris Saint-Germain winger, with a verbal agreement between the clubs.

Liverpool have been negotiating for the mercurial wide attacker throughout the summer. Now, they appear close to landing one of the most established young wingers in European football.

But Barcola’s arrival would not simply be another expensive addition to Andoni Iraola’s squad.

It could change the entire attacking picture at Liverpool.
